Aira Is Available for Free on Campus

Nov. 6, 2018

The User Experience Office is happy to announce that aira, an augmented reality technology for people who are blind or have low vision, is now available on the central campus. Users download an app to their Android or iOS phone, and use it to contact a live agent who describes the visual field for them. Aira operates as a personal guide who is available on demand. Members of the campus community and visitors may use the service free of charge while on campus. Details on how to use the service can be found on the aira website.
